The NSS Cleaning Drive, organized by student volunteers from Chinmaya Vishwavidhyapeeth, took place at Ernakulam South Railway Station on 6th December. The event aimed to contribute to community service by cleaning a designated area of the railway station. The event brought together 37 student volunteers from Chinmaya Vishwavidhyapeeth. The initiative aimed to make a positive impact on the cleanliness and hygiene of the station.
The cleaning drive started off with an inspiring inauguration by Padmaja S. Menon. The enthusiastic group of 37 volunteers, led by student coordinators, actively participated in cleaning a designated area of the railway station. The primary objective of the NSS cleaning drive was to enhance the cleanliness of Ernakulam South Railway Station. The goal was to contribute to community welfare by creating a cleaner and healthier environment. The NSS team successfully achieved its objective by cleaning a significant area of the railway station. The collective effort of the volunteers resulted in a visibly cleaner and more organized space. The organizers extend their heartfelt gratitude to Padmaja S. Menon and Dr. Bindu M.P for their presence and support. Special thanks to the student coordinators, Lubnaa Shibu, Namrata R. Nair, Aditi Dev, Meenakshi M, and Mishel Lawrence, for their exemplary leadership and coordination. The NSS Cleaning Drive at Ernakulam South Railway Station was a commendable initiative that showcased the spirit of community service among the student volunteers. The successful accomplishment of the cleaning objective reflects the dedication and teamwork of all participants
