On the occasion of  International Women’s Day on 29th Friday,  An awareness class was organized by the NSS unit of CVV, from 2 pm to 4 pm for the Kudumbhashree  Members and Sevak Members. The class was on the topic Menstrual Hygiene, Physical and Mental Changes associated with Menopause, necessity of menstrual cup and their use at Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth University’s Onakkoor campus. This awareness class was inaugurated by Honorable Pampakuda Panchayat President Mr. Thomas Tadathil, Ward Councilors Mrs. Rupa and Mrs . Shyamala also participated in the program. This class was conducted by Dr. Prince, Rtd Medical Officer. He talked about Faces of Women, Menstrual Hygiene and Sex.

NSS members Anitta Biju and Aamina Afnan conducted a class on the use and necessity of menstrual cups. Active presence of Kudumbashree members and Sevak members made the program more beautiful. Finally, Ms. Aamina thanked everyone and adjourned the function.
