The SEVA@CVV functioning in Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth, Deemed to be university, organized a Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with NSS@CVV on 24 March 2022.

About 80 participants including Students, Faculties, and Staff had volunteered to donate blood. At about 9:00 am, a team of 4 doctors from IMA Cochin arrived at the university. The Camp had been organized at Sankaram1. After the preliminary check-up of the blood donors, they were instructed to lie down on individual beds.

The first to donate blood were the students. Soon, the faculties and the staff started donating blood. The Seva members and other staff members were personally assisting the team of doctors. There was a kind of hustle and bustle in the camp. All looked excited about it.

After blood donation, each student was given refreshments and snacks. When asked what the students felt after donating blood, they exploded the myth that one felt weakness thereafter. The doctors and the Seva team thanked all the students for donating blood for a noble cause.
