The core activities of SEVA are in the field of education and literacy, health, family welfare and nutrition, sanitation and cleanliness, environment conservation, social service programmes, programmes for improving the status of women, production-oriented programmes, disaster relief and rehabilitation, campaigning against social evils, creating awareness about flagship programmes of the Government like Digital India, Skill India, the promotion of Yoga, Indian traditions and customs etc.
Some of the reputed organisations we have collaborated with to expand our service to the community are:
- Chinmaya Organization for Rural Development (CORD)
- Chinmaya Vijaya
- ATMA Foundation
- JEEVATHA
Students of CVV need to select one of the following organisations and work with them for minimum ten days. Association with the above established organisations provides the experience that helps students to put their education into practice and develop numerous skills such as leadership, organisational skills, communication etc.
Our students have the choice of visiting and staying the CORD centres in Himachal Pradesh (Kangra), Uttarakhand (Chamba), Odisha (Rourkela and Dheodia) and Tamil Nadu (Thamaraipakkam, Siruvani).
