Preparing college and university students for responsible stewardship of a robust democracy has long been the core mission of American higher education. At Young India Foundation, we are focused on building active engagement amongst India’s youth and bringing their voices to the forefront of policy engagement with state and central policymaking through campaigns like YIF is India’s first non-partisan, non-profit organization focused on making Indian politics more accessible for India’s 67 crore young people. We are working with the Chief Electoral Officers of the states and other stakeholders to ensure the youth vote hits record numbers in 2024.
